Camp Lejeune Claims

Camp Lejeune Justice Act

Congress recently passed the Lejeune Justice Act. This is an Act that recognizes the injuries that may have occurred at Camp Lejeune due to the water contamination with hazardous chemicals.

This Act allows Veterans and their loved ones who were stationed at Camp Lejeune and suffered injury or death from the following to file a claim:

  • Cancer
  • Neurological defects such as Parkinson’s disease or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
  • Miscarriages
  • Birth defects
  • Other injuries

These claims must be filed within two years of the Lejeune Justice Act becoming law (August 10, 2022).  The Veteran or family member must have been stationed at Camp Lejeune for at least 30 days between the years of 1953 and 1987, and have been exposed to the water conditions.
